Antron 99 snapped in last week's high winds. SWR still normal, signal not as good for local stuff but for everything else I don't think I'd have even noticed.

Yep, the darned wind is a pain. Try living 300 feet above sea level, facing the Irish Sea! I'm an equal expert at making things survive the wind - and quickly repairing those that eventually yield to Nature's power!

Still, a good excuse to build your own vertical - at a fraction of the cost of even an Antron!
